One of the things I do beside writing novels is contribute regular articles on books and food to the Herald on Sunday. I review titles that catch my eye, interview interesting authors, chefs, tea merchants, cider makers, tequila experts – you name it. There’a an archive of these newspaper pieces which you’ll find by clicking here.
Authors are staging a read-in this Friday March 25 in libraries all over the Auckland region to help raise funds for the Canterbury Appeal. Local writers like Emily Perkins, Sue Orr and Kelly Ana Morey are taking part and I’ll be at Massey Library at 1pm reading a short passage from The Villa Girls. For the full schedule check here.
There’s a short interview with me on the TVNZ website. This is my first bit of publicity for The Villa Girls which should be hitting bookshops in New Zealand and Australia very soon. Check it out by by clicking here
There’ll be wine and nibbles in New Plymouth, afternoon tea in Waipukurau, bubbles in Gisborne and books, books, books.
