I’m sailing away to the Waiheke Literary Festival on November 14 so if you’re on the island come and hear me talk about happiness, food, friends and how a novel that is easy to read isn’t always so easy to write. For more click here

I’m excited to be heading down to the Marlborough Book Festival this winter to appear at a couple of interesting events. The festival runs from 24 – 26 July and to find out what I’m doing and when go to and hopefully I’ll see you there.

one summer in veniceAnd after only 350,000 work hours, 150 sleepless nights, 15 new wrinkles and 5 extra kilos here’s the new book. It’s out April/May and it’s about happiness.

I’ve set up a Facebook author page like a proper social media savvy writer so please head over and like Nicky Pellegrino author when you get a minute. Thanks!

If you like listening to books then you’ll be pleased to hear that The Food Of Love Cookery School is now available as an audio book. Find it at

Big excitement at my end about the WORD Christchurch Book Festival in August. I’m appearing with two of my absolute all time favourite writers. I’ll be part of a delicious morning tea event with legendary US food writer Ruth Reichl and then in conversation with Diane Setterfield author of a wonderful novel called The Thirteenth Tale (if you haven’t read it yet then you have a treat in store).  There are loads more amazing writers taking part so come along if you’re in town. The festival runs from August 27 to 31 and you can find out more about it here

foodofloveThe Food Of Love Cookery School will be released in paperback with this smart new jacket on July 31 in the UK, just in time for some summer holiday reading. It’s set in Sicily and nearly as good as going there (I did say nearly). You can even cook some of the food that stars in it!
