Ever since she was a little girl, Aria has dreamt of crossing that legendary finish line and hearing the crowds roar only for her.
Now, struggling against the will of her controlling, charismatic ex-husband to hold onto her horses, the dream seems further away than ever. But when an English filmmaker, Oliver, arrives in Siena to make a documentary about the Palio, it seems like she might have her chance.
And as they begin to spend more time together, Aria wonders if maybe – just maybe – there’s another dream she might have given up on too soon . . .
